North Shore Give 2026 Auction & Gala Brings Community Together to Support Kauaʻi’s North Shore

North Shore Give’s 2026 Auction & Gala brought together residents, visitors, and supporters in a shared effort to uplift the North Shore of Kauaʻi. Through collective generosity, the event helped fund programs that strengthen community health, education, and resilience across the region.

The two-week online auction welcomed over 350 participants, with strong engagement across a variety of local experiences, dining offerings, and unique contributions from community partners. More than just bidding, the auction reflected a deep sense of connection and support for the people and places that make the North Shore so special.

The event culminated in a memorable Gala at the Anaina Hou Porter Pavilion, an evening centered around connection, gratitude, and a shared commitment to caring for one another. Community leaders, local families, and supporters gathered to celebrate the impact of giving back, including Mayor Derek Kawakami and members of the Kauaʻi County Council.

One of the most meaningful moments of the evening was the “Dash for Cash,” where attendees came together to support expanded medical services on the North Shore. This collective effort directly supports Gift of Health, a North Shore Give initiative focused on improving healthcare access in a region without a hospital.

Makana North Shore Urgent Care plays a vital role as the only urgent care provider for the area. Thanks to past community support, Makana has already expanded its capabilities, adding new equipment and advanced training so more patients can receive high-quality care close to home.

In 2026, Gift of Health continues this mission by funding essential tools and resources that make a meaningful difference in everyday care. Community contributions will help ensure that residents and visitors alike have access to the services they need, when they need them most.

The success of this year’s Auction & Gala is a powerful reminder: when the North Shore comes together, meaningful change happens. Every contribution, big or small, helps build a healthier, more resilient future for Kauaʻi’s North Shore.
